I never knew how much I enjoyed reading books until recently. When you find a book you actual enjoy and can’t put down, it makes reading so fun. Here are some of my favorite books I have read or am reading now that is changing my perception on bookworms. I recommend you check these out and maybe you’ll learn to love reading as well. click 'Read More' below for more details The Girl on the Train – I’ve recently started reading this and it’s really enticing so far. I would admit I only started reading this because it recently came out in theaters and I wanted to see if the hype was real. So far it’s just how I hope. It’s a psychological thriller with alluring plot twists that leave you wanting more. I would check this out (if you haven’t seen the movie yet or just want a little more depth).
Luckiest Girl Alive – This reminds of The Girl on the Train as it’s scripted from a girl’s perspective with a thrilling and emotional storyline. I love the humor this book gives and the page turning suspense throughout each chapter. I gushed about this book to my boyfriend and even had him read a few chapters, he enjoyed it as well! Brain on Fire – This book is scary but not in an “Oh no there’s a killer” type of way, but a “Wow I can’t believe that can actually happen” type of way. Following the main character as she battles and overcomes losing her mind, identity and psyche is really touching and makes you ponder on how many unknown mental disorders are out there and how many people are suffering with no answers?? Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely – If you like a good self-help book, I would highly recommend this one. I’m sure everyone has felt rejection or loneliness at some point in their life, this book helps you move past all of those experiences and teaches you how to overcome that perception of loneliness and rejection. With biblical depth, we learn how to process these experiences with God honoring ways. You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life – pretty opposite from the previous self-help book. If you want to make a change in your life and need something a little bit more stern and in your face, this is the book for you. Sometimes tough love is the best love to get us going and pushing us towards our dreams. A great book for anyone looking to make a change in their life and continue reaching new goals & dreams. Let me know some of your favorite books and I’ll be sure to check it out!
