Electrolytes are very important on the keto diet, especially when transitioning into ketosis to limit adverse effects. This includes sodium, potassium and magnesium. You can definitely get your recommended does through salt, veggies and other foods. But you can also take a supplement to assist in this.
I recommended adding Himalayan pink salt (for sodium) and no salt (for potassium) to your foods or even to your water. You can add 1 tsp of each to 2 liters of water to aid you throughout the day. This can help with sluggishness, headaches and keto flu like symptoms.
You can also try a pre-made electrolyte powder. This one by Dr. Eric Beg is highly popular.
In order to feel good, fight disease and live a healthy lifestyle. It’s recommended to eat 7-10 cups of vegetables a day. This may not always be achieved on a day to day basis. You can take a greens powder supplement to assist in reaching your daily need or just to add to what you’re already eating for better results.
