Most people are open to improving their skin in one way or another. When easily attainable skincare products are not doing the job, some will reach out to professional resources to help their skin issues. Professional skincare services can get pretty expensive and nowadays, some of these procedures can be done in the comfort of your own home for a percentage of the cost. Check out some of the beauty tools you can use at home that will give you in-office results.

Personal Microdermabrasion Device
I personally loved the PMD Personal Microderm tool which replicates professional micrdemabrasion treatments using aluminum oxide crystals on a spinning disc to vacuum and exfoliate the top layer of skin. I had achieved really good results at one point and had really clear skin. Unfortunately, over time I feel the effects weren’t as effective and I’m always open to trying alternatives. I hope to try the MicrodermMD machine, which mimics professional office machines, using a diamond tip and multiple suction levels to exfoliate dead skin cells and increase cell turnover to smooth and brighten the skin. I feel I would achieve more salon quality results with this device.
Hand-held Deep Cleansing Device
Steaming your face helps to open and purify the pores, so once you apply you skincare products they will better absorb in the skin. I LOVE steaming my face. Not only does it make my skin feel amazing but it’s really calming and therapeutic as well. I usually just boil a hot pot of water and lean my face over it with a towel (with a few drops of essential oil inside), but now I’m tired of the hassle and want to try an actual device to see if I get better results.
Not to be confused with the at home laser (an actual zapping laser for the skin), light therapy is just a pulsating light used to benefit the skin. Blue light therapy is known to kill bacteria on the skin, which is perfect for acne sufferers, and red light therapy is known for its anti-aging purposes.
